Does anyone have any experience with getting either of these two skills to 120? I have set a macro for 2 nights now without gaining a single .1 in skill. I'm currently wearing a full plate suit, minus the plate chest. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

nop I tried and I was able to raise hiding but I never found where to learn stealth and I was never able to progress by 0.1% by training on this skill.

Dang...I too couldn't find anyone to train Stealth so I ended up training it from 0.0...I'm now GM in both, but can't seem to gain nay further.

As you leave the town center of Arete (heading south) into the Melee Training area there is a NPC sitting on a bench who tells you he can teach Stealth and Hiding. He will train you up to 32 skill points each.

I have no experience at training Stealth, but this is what i found on an Easy UO trainer.
STEALTH TRAINING GUIDE Minimum 50 Hiding Skill 30 Stealth Skill
00-32 Train from Thief Guildmaster NPC 25-57 Leather Gorget, Gloves 65-84 Ringmail Gloves, Ringmail Sleeves, Leather Gorget 84-95 Ringmail Legs, Leather Tunic, Studded Sleeves, Studded Gorget 95-GM Leather Legs, Leather Cap, Chain Tunic, Ringmail Sleeves, Studded Gorget
This will ensure that you fail at your attempts to stealth, giving you more chances at gaining skill.
Also UO Guide the link below

Please let me know if any of this has helped as I am probably going to train stealth in the very near further and it will also help newcomers.

That works from 0-GM...however, I haven't found a single way to go past GM. I've tried, what I believe, is every possible combination of armor. Only thing I can think of doing now is buying skill balls to raise

Only thing I can think of to make it more difficult is to be in the vicinity of something negative.

maybe try the Satyr, i dont know if it works for stealth, otherwise a sure way would be skillball +1 or +5, you can find +1 skillballs or buy +5 from Lord Hart in Brit castle.

Problem with Satyr is that you need to hide. Will fail to hide if in battle. Satyr can't see you when hidden.

i think on another shard to go above 100, i wore a metal shield and a metal helm and if they are mage armor, it wont count. Burglars bandana has stealth +10

I'll give the shield a try. I have a ton of the burglars bandanas, but Id rather have the skill capped lol

Anyone found an answer to raising Hiding and Stealth above 100, without the use of skill balls? Any help would be greatly appreciated. At this rate, I'd pay good gold for your knowledge lol.
Thanks in advance.
