I need to know something, an old patch for Ultima Online had changed treasure maps to non static placements. Is that true here or are they static placements?
Example: The place that a treasure can spawn at is always completely random so that means a t-map library is pointless.
So is the placement for all treasures set in stone or always fluxating kind of like mining. There is no set area for rare or its randomly generated?

In UOT the maps are located in 'Traditional' locations. We do have the possibility to set up additional static locations for other custom maps. That has not been done yet
So . . . while the current maps all go to one of the anticipated 'Traditional' locations, they could result in digging up a 'Themed' chest not just the usual expected chest. 'Themed' chests will then spawn mobs that are related to each other (Pirates, Lizard/Dragon, Undead etc). Also the 'Themed' chests can contain random related home deco items.
Oh . . . and if you take a ship out for the islands beware - you may be attacked by pirates.
I hope this helps
Cheers
