The Organ Grinder (Monkey Business)
This quest is very possible to solo but can involve searching various facets of the realm. For that reason it may lead you to Tartarus.
On the Ilshenar facet (south of the Compassion Shrine) a Gypsy Circus has made camp. The grounds are open to the public but the gypsies charge gold coins for several activities.
You can wander around:
- bob for apples,
- see caged tigers,
- win gold at archery,
- get your fortune told,
- enter the 'Big Top' tent.
Lucia the gypsy seer (fortune teller) is also known as a bit of a mystic and shaman. She has played around for years with various powerful potions. Her latest batch is on the evil side and making creatures to mutate into a wild Revenant form. This has caused a problem in the camp.
Olaf the gypsy Organ Grinder is not happy with Lucia. Some of his pet monkeys got into Lucia's latest potions. They became wild and ran off with some of Olaf's Musical Organs and his Song Scrolls. Those monkeys need to be stopped because they pose a danger to wanderers in the realm.
Talk to Olaf the Organ Grinder in the gypsy circus camp grounds. He has been given reports indicating the areas where 'Revenant Monkeys' have been seen. If you help him and slay one of the Revenant Monkeys you might obtain a Musical Organ for your home as well as Song Scrolls that can be added to it. This will allow you to select what music you wish to hear in the area of your house.
This quest has a 3 hour cool down period although you do have up to two days to complete it once you accept the quest.
