Hey All,
As with having a little one recently, I'm struggling to find time to really get involved and participate in the bulk of the traditions content. This makes me a little sad as I love the game, love this shard and the player base I've begun to get to know. With this In mind, I'm having a tough time really managing a way in which I can contribute to the shard effectively and really make the most of it, because of this I'd like to spend some time really giving to the shard and more specifically, the new players in order to hopefully help expand the player base and keep new players from getting frustrated and leaving. As being relatively fresh, I understand the challenge and if it wasn't for a few certain players (you know who you are, ❤️) I'd certainly be still struggling to hunt mongbats! (That's how bad a warrior I am)
Now I can get on for an hour, give or take a touch every evening (uk time around 9-10, watering the plants) and sometimes I will come on for a bit longer when and if I can. I love getting stuck in and doing what I can to help players out. Crafting is my specialty and I'm almost able to make anything that is craftable (barre a few recipes I'm still working on). Really what I'd like to ask is if anyone has any ideas in which they think would be a good way for me to really contribute towards the player base? Doesn't just have to be for new players, but I'd like to encourage players to stick around and really pursue the challenges that amairgen has provided! If you have spellcrafting orders, by all means pm me in game!
A thought I have in mind which I will begin working towards is: Filling the rune library, either mine or arete is fine by me and creating a safe haven honesty area with different types of equipment and items for new players (crafted spellcrafted starting gear - LRC, LMC, MANA, etc.) and little things like empty kegs to help train alchemy as the 10000 empty bottles struggle is real. What I don't want to do is take the challenge out of the game at all so do say so if you feel what I'm thinking would... i just think that first helping step can really make or break some people and I'd love to repay the help I've received from my friends.
Sorry for the epic, I do ramble, especially when I'm so sleep deprived as of late,
Give me your thoughts and let's discuss this.
Cheers!
