I've grown a few mutated plants, cypress tree and bonsai trees, and I am having trouble setting them to decorative mode. They're past 9 days old and show the icon in the top right of the plant window to make them decorative, it asks me if I'm sure, I click the check mark to confirm and nothing happens. I only seem to be having this problem with mutated plants. Everything else I've grown so far has been successfully set to decorative mode. Has anyone else tried playing around with the plant system? Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated  |

Thanks, Amairgen! Don't worry, we'll have all the mead bottled cleaned up by the time you return  Just a quick question, is the Secret Solen Hive quest the correct path to obtain black/white seeds? I can only get the fire red. Safe travels! |

Of the top with no ' Green Thumb' . . I don't know. I can also check the scripts on the server for that when I get home.

I've just run into the same issue with a cypress tree that is unwilling to be set as decorative .

Yeah, they are broken still.
Mutated plants won't go decorative but amairgen can set them for you. Also, tribarrel cactus end up looking like the single cactus type when turned decorative.
Not tried the solen quest, didn't realise they drop black/white seeds. I always just thiought it was only fire, pink, magenta or aqua... Will experiment with this over the next few weeks and see if I can get a black / white to drop, I have like 100 green thorns to use so may as well.

I'll wait untill I have a bunch of peculiars to turn decorative ; just keep them in a container for now .
I've also never heard of Solens giving black/white seeds .

If I am not mistaken the white and black seed are a rare crossbreed production. one out of a hundred pollination periods of a plant will yield a white or black seed production set. It is for the entire seed production for the plant until it stops producing.
