Okay . . we now have lived through me getting a new Router for improved WIFI in my home.
In the end we needed to keep the old Router due to some 'trippy' issues with port forwarding.
Final Result:
- the old Router is now dedicated to the Game Server and does not have to respond to any WIFI calls.
- the new Router does not deal with the Game Server at all but does handle all WIFI (my other five computers, sound system and TVs).
I am sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience last night.
