I seem to need help

I have downloaded the game but cannot get past the 'connecting' screen. This is without Razor. I've tried several times to download Razor, but my Norton Security immediately pops up, telling me 'Razor_latest.exe is not safe and has been removed'. I'm fairly certain that with as many people as there are using Razor it should not be giving good ole Norton fits. But it does.

I'm using Windows 10 and Norton Security. Is there some way to get past this situation? I'd really like to try out your shard [I'm wanting a home, and Traditions sounds fantastic!] I'd appreciate any help from you folks. My wife says 'just shut Norton off for a while', but I'd rather not do that. Is there a way to set an exception or something? Or mayhap a hammer would do the trick? Just kidding.

Also, is the start screen the 9th Anniversary Edition?

It is possible to go into Norton Settings and exclude Razor from screening. I cannot remember how this is done but do remember finding the solution through Google

I have an issue in which I can't connect using Razor. It is not an antivirus issue either but I ended up using UOSteam to connect. Works great and am really starting to like using it.

As Amair mentioned, you should be able to allow/disallow what software accesses internet / your machine in the antivirus software setting. I don't use Norton but I just did a quick search and here is a link or 2 to get you started:
