Various questions...

We were wondering about a few things. I am just going to list them in no particular order so if anyone is able to answer it would be most appreciated I have read through quite a bit on the forums dating back to 2013 but I tend to forget where I saw something so if an answer to one of my questions does exist on the forums just let me know. I will search better. The only one that I recall seeing anything about was the evo pets.

Are there any player vendors other than the area by the gypsy camp on Arete?

If there are, where would they be? 

Are there any active player towns?

What is an evo pet? How do they differ from normal pets. 

Since stables are not activated how do I handle a non evo pet? I tamed a dragon and purchased the leash from the npc vendor. It only works on evo thus the question above. I have seen that pet shrink potions exist but have yet to see one so not sure if they work or not. Figured it may be the same thing as the leash but also thought the potion may target non evo pets. 

Are the npc vendors on Arete the only ones able to increase their inventory? I notice the smith will sell 500 ingots, carpenter 500 boards etc. However, board/ingot vendors in britain, vesper, etc, don't seem to increase from the original inventory they start with.

okay lets go in order here

1) Right now Arete is pretty much the only place that has an active player vendor area. There have been others in the past, but they tend to be hard to keep up with a smaller server population. There are some pretty regular crafters, Telchar, DaVinci, Deathmule to name a few. Anything else ask in game.

2) Answered above

3) POP is the last active guild I know of so can cheeck with them. I myself have been planning to reopen my old guild, but keep seeming to get disstracted. Amairgen is very helpful to guilds giving them areas to create guild towwns. POP is located west of Luna

4) Evo pets are pets that will gain experience and evolve into stronger pets as they level up

5) Stables were taken down, but pretty much all pets should be able to be shrunk. Try using a hitching post. There is one just outside the stabless in Arete, outsside The Green Dragon Inn, or near most major city stables.

6) I am not sure about the increasing inventory so much. I know reagents do a little but not up to the 9,999 level they did in old uo. ingots and boards available on vendors is a relatively new thing

Good questions and Telchar (above) did a good job answering most.

We discovered long ago that bringing our custom Evo pets onto the shard had broken the 'Stable System'. We tried to fix it including having several RunUO people look at it but no one could help. As a result we disabled the stables and created Exhalted versions of all the common favorite pets. If you get an Exalted pet then you can 'Shrink' them. The non-exalted ones (common creatures) may be tamed and dragged around but cannot be stabled or shrunk.

The 'Stable System' problem is a downfall we have been unable to resolve but the upside of being able to 'Shrink' exalted animals is a positive side affect.
