Greetings all. I have been mad at work trying to finish the Green Dragon Inn and open it to the public. Although not everything is finished I have noticed a rise in new players so I wanted to open the doors to the community. The Green Dragon is a place meant to help the new players out, but will also have some items for the veteran players.
Here is the way the inn works. There are a number of inn rooms that will be given to new players that do not have houses. The doors to the rooms each have their own key to which only the player and I will have a key. My key will not be used unless the room holder disappears and the items in the room must be stored. The new player will be friended to the inn so they will have instant log ability. Inside their room they will have a secure container/containers for storage and some mass storage containers. Upon obtaining a house of their own they will be given the mass storage containers, barring The Green Dragon Inn has an ample supply of replacement containers, as a house warming gift. If players go missing for 30 days players items will be put into storage until account deletion.
What does The Green Dragon Inn offer for the community outside of new players? I have decided to make public some of my personal runebooks and other items to include...
1) T-map rune library
2) Ore rune library (not all books quite full, but ample enough and will be filled soon)
3) All special dye tubs - rune book, runes, pottery, armor, shields, weapons, Spell books, furniture, clothing, SOS, and potion keg (account must be 1 month old to use)
4) Pet retriever
5) Travel stone
6) More to come...
