Hello.
i have been an UO addict for years and years, i remember playing it, back when it was at its peak (the late 90's).
But i always prefered the player made shards prior to OSI. The shards created out of passion for the game, and not glory of the money.
So this shard seems like the right place to be.
Back in 2006 i stopped playing UO as a "player" and created my own shard (The Northern Light) in periods it was quite popular, but i just couldent stop adjusting, tweaking and bug hunting, it became a part-time-job, so i really never enjoyed the game that much again, after i launched my own shard. So a few years back i put it in retirement, and uninstalled UO.
- Untill yesterday, where i re-installed, and decided to re-live the best gaming-memories of my life, i wanted to be a normal UO-player again.
Login, spent the first days macroing, go on adventures, explore the lands, die countless times to monsters, and on the sideline build up a lumber-business so i can supply all you crafters with logs, logs, and more logs!
- And thats the great thing about this game, you can be anything, there is no right or wrong, stronger or weaker path, this game was created around the joy of playing it. And frankly, i feel quite joyfull on this shard
In real life i live in a small country called Denmark, up in the cold, cold north (therfore my english is far from flawless, my apologies)
My name is Tommy (that makes me male), and i am 31 years old.
I work as a Team Manager at a company named Sitel (yeah we got that in Denmark to). I control my own working hours, meaning i am going to be online at very diffent times every day (no standard login/logout routine for me)
If i dont play UO, i enjoy playing co-op games with my friend (who also joined this server with me (he chose some unpronounceable name, so I cant make you any cleverer on this matter), i am sure he will make a forum acc. soon enough though)
And if i dont play computer games, well i like movies, having a drink in the weekends or spent some quality time with the girlfriend, but basicly i am always quite close to my computer (who isent these days)
- Oh and basicly i am not the PVP kinda guy, i am a trader and an adventurer.
I hope to meet you all in game, and hope to enjoy some great UO-moments and "memories to be" with you guys
'Fare thee well
