The Elven Book of Incantations
You need to be an Elf to get this quest but you could have others accompany you. Not easy but skilled Elves could solo it.
The quest is in four parts. Each part is a mini-quest in itself so they can be done in any order. It is recommended that you talk to Elder Dyffros the Druid Elf first because he can sell you a book to hold the Elven Incants. You must be an Elf to be able to use the book and the Incants are more powerful if you have good Spellweaving and Hiding.
1) Elder Dyffros the Druid Elf lives in the old abbey south of Papua in the newlands. He sells the Elven Book of Incants. If you help him he will give you one of the four Incant scrolls he makes (first four in the book).
2) Traeliorn the Tree Elf lives in a tree house just north of Lakeshire on the Ilshenar facet. He is building defenses there and needs certain items. In return for them he will will give you one of the four Incant scrolls he has available (second four in the book).
3) Phaerl the Potion Maker is busy deep in the Mondain dungeon known as the Palace of Paroxysmus. The entrance is just north of Papua before the bridge over the gorge. You will need to buy an acid proof rope there to descend into the dungeon. Phaerl can be found in the ruins of an ancient village inside. If you help her she will give you one of the four Incant scrolls she holds (the next four in the book).
4) Mizzrym the Mystic Elf lives in the Drow village in Heartwood. The entrance to this dangerous area is hidden in the desert north of Papua. Help him and get one of the four Incant scrolls he has (the final four in the book).
Note: There is no Cool Down period on these.
