Can some one tell me how to make the Arete imbuing elixir

You cannot make it - it drops in the Arete mini-gauntlet (back of the little cave by the training area). Talk to Munro outside the cave for the quest.

Doing the gauntlet for a few days now and got a full set of 5 each items but only dropped 3 Arete imbuing elixir

The Arete Imbuing Elixir has a 40% chance to drop as loot on the following:
1) Beula of Asmodai the evil witch in the Northeast corner of Arete
2) The Captain of the Invaders in the Northwet corner of Arete
3) Hofmann the chemist in the Arete King's dungeon
4) Desmondus the Boss of the Arete mini-gauntlet
