Question on synergies

I'm wondering why wrestling is on with warrior skills.  And also if arms lore has any benefit for a crafter.  I remember years ago, high wrestling along with a weapon skill added some sort of a bonus to that weapon skill.  Thanks in advance for any answers.

1 Arms Lore does give a small bonus to the properties if armor and weapons crafted

2 Wrestel helps with Magery but not weapins. For that you need tactics and Anatomy
