Hi
After years away from UO I fancied having a dabble again. I looked through a couple of 'free shard' listings sites, and thought UO Traditions had the best looking website, an online version of the enticing shop window, and seems to have a philosophy closest to the way I'd like a free shard to be. So, I thought I'd give it a go.
Now to the problem... two attempts to download your All In One Game Package proved unsuccessful. Very slow download speeds (no problem at my end) meant over an hour for each attempt, and resulted in corrupted RAR files. Whilst the second one was going on I downloaded the recommended UO client from another source, and thought I'd just use the custom files I'd seen mentioned, but they don't appear to be offered for download.
Any recommendations as to how i can get a client modified correctly to log on to your shard?
Many thanks in advance

Thank you for your post - really appreciated. We will do all we can to help you work through this problem. Frankly this is the first anyone has drawn this to our attention (maybe others are having this problem but simply not saying anything). We have had over 200 accounts created by others who found the process ran smoothly. Okay a few things: 1) Yes the 'All In One Game Package' is a large file. Once you get it you will need nothing else. It is pre-patched and also has our custom files included. We know of people from around the world who have downloaded this file successfully including (in one case) on a dial up connection. It is large - It will take some time - It is worth the effort *grins* 2) Our download file is not a .RAR it is a .ZIP Not sure if that makes a difference on your end. We do include a link to the Free program 7-Zip ( www.7-zip.org ) which we know works perfectly to Unzip our download. 3) There may be locations out there offering clients set to our recommended patch but to our knowledge anything lower than ours cannot be properly patched up any longer because the game makers have moved to a different mapping structure. If anyone has different information - please share it. If you can think of anything else we can do to help you - please let us know. Many Thanks for looking at us. We have a great community and we are really proud of what is offered.

Thanks for the reply Amairgen. As you can see, i've got my forum identity authorised now.
I'm downloading the file pack for a third time, and have got your recommended unpacking software. I'll see how it goes.
