We now have a new creature on the Server called a Bucephalus.
In order to obtain one of these you must search the wilds of Tartaus for one of 22 wandering Bucephalus Guardians. These ancient beasts have acquired many wondrous objects over the ages and can drop deeds for a Bucephalus Stallion or a Bucephalus Mare. There is no Taming skill required to control or train these warrior horses.
The new Stallion and Mare are lighter versions of Evolution creatures. They only have two stages of development and do not take much training to achieve these stages. You can speed up the process by purchasing some Bucephalus Feed from any Farmer. Once your Bucephalus has reached full development (stage 2) it will be close to but not as powerful as a Nightmare.
The advantages to this new steed for warriors are: 1) You can buy (or obtain) a Bucephalus Barding Deed from a GM Blacksmith. When applied to your Bucephalus they will become armored and provide the rider with some additional protection. In the armored state the Stallions appear like Chargers and the Mares appear like Unicorns. The armor can be removed with a bladed item returning the steed's appearance back to that of a normal horse. 2) The color of the armored Bucephalus varies depending on the resource (ingots) used by the Blacksmith to make the Barding Deeds. 3) A Bucephalus can be shrunken using a Pet Leash and carried in your pack so it is free of the dangers caused by placing it in one of the leaky stables. The Pet Leash (with limited uses) can be obtained from a quest in Bedlam (if you are lucky) or from a legendary Tailor.

Almost none . . Just give it the special feed that drops and have it fight anything nearby.
