'Donation Chests' can be found inside the Arete bank and outside the Britain main bank. New players can access these chests a limited number of times to obtain free items dropped there by other players.
More interestingly - Any player can visit the 'Britain Municipal Dump' which is located in the Wind passage mining area. All items that players drop into trash barrels or trash pouches will be transferred to the ground of the Britain Municipal Dump. These items exist free for the picking before they decay (30 min to 58 min).
NPC vendors in shops around the shard are also available to purchase items or you can visit the 'Public Market' on the Isle of Arete to shop from vendors placed by other players.
