1) One of Santa's Helpers has taken Santa's sleigh and arrived at the Arete Market area. He brought with him several items from the North Pole that he is selling to raise money for Santa. *reindeer are expensive to feed at the pole*
2) Santa Claus is at the North Pole but there is a Moongate in the Arete Market area to his Tree Farm. You can buy a special 'Tree Saw' from Santa's helper that can be used to cut a Christmas Tree at the North Pole.
Note: be careful not to hit Santa. He has a lot on his mind and can be mean at this time of year if you mess with him.
3) The Grinch has been very active over the past 12 months. He has multiplied many times and generated a hoard of Grinches. The Grinches have been raiding Santa's Gift storage and run off with a long list of nice items. These range from Moonstones to Powerscrolls and from Candy to Artifacts as well as Special Deeds and Pet Slot Potions. They may also have Christmas Bells intended for the people of our world.
Note: The Grinches are hiding in Malas much of the time. Our scouts will be on the look out and let everyone know if they are spotted. They are not too hard to kill if you find one but they are tricky and move very fast. Also they might spawn one or more of the Grinch's pesky ankle biting dogs.
4) The walls of Arete town and market have spawned Snowmen created for the people of our world. You are free to collect and trade or give these away to others.
