Hey peeps,
I'm just wondering if I can grab some advice off you. A few months ago my computer packed up and I haven't had the funds to replace it. Being the case, i've been using an old hand-me-down laptop from 2004 (yeah, tell me about it) that to be frank is quite unsuitable for existance, let alone the treachorous tasks I'm subject to grinding it through. Anyway, finally I'm in the market for something new and am just wondering if you guys can suggest anything from parts to a full set up. I have basic know-how of self building and what have you, but i'm a bit outdated on modern specs and manufacturers. I'm sort of looking for something that's not gonna cost me an arm and a leg but is more than capable of running programs (very well) like Auto-cad and some other 3d modelling programs that i'll be using for uni work but isn't too loud. Also, needless to say, I'll be using it for finally getting on regular terms with UoT which i've been dying to do since my old one pack up!
