Basically what i want to know is if people want to get say there dracula robe changed into say a sash, and pay 2mil for it would all the players be ok with it

Keep in mind this will not change the properties of the item IE a platemail tunic made into a leather tunic will not make it a medable tunic, just change its look

Not sure why you want that but I guess you want it for having a different look. I wouldn't care about it so I am neutral on that topic UNLESS the equip area gets changed too then I am against it.

equip area would not change, it is mearly for a new look, and to give players with alot of $$ a sink for there cash. i believe it would also help for the RP element of the server, so not everyone is just running around in the best stuff for there spec

Since most armor items are for male characters and my characters are all female then I think its a good idea to be able to change things and I've never liked robes having a bucket load of stats anyway, sashes would be better. The price you suggest though is way too high, maybe 200,000gps per item.
At the moment, no one needs multi millions on here, which is good. Probably the most expensive thing now is yard add-ons and yard deco, then the bright hair dye.
So. I vote yes but with a much lower price.

Couldn't a crafter change lesser items to appear to be greater items and possibly swindle? Just wondering if it could be manipulated on a vender. If change appearance and change name are both available, it seems possible.

I like the idea of giving an item a different look. I think it is a great way to go with the role play aspect. As far as price maybe 2 mil is to much for most, but I have to say 200k is to low. It could also be incorporated into the rewards program for medallions of courage.
