My lack of participation

I am on sporadically lately because I am having Router issues. Seems my router tends to overheat and stop working, and at the most inconvenient times sometimes. I have ordered a new router and should be receiving it soon. Once it arrives and everything is setup properly you will hopefully see more of me online.


by the way, anybody know anything about Buffalo Routers? This will be my first. This is what I ordered but I'd be interested in your opinion if you've used them before.

Personally I know nothing about Buffalo Routers but am always interested in learning. Previously we used a Lynxus Router for the game Server until it failed after three years. Now we are using a NetGear Router. I cannot say if NetGear is any better but so far so good.

Currently I have a Cisco Linksys E3000. When I looked up overheating issues with the router, I found many other people had the same issue and even a few videos on how to chop the router up and add additional fans to it to try to solve the problem. I figured it was better just to order a new one.

We have extra fans on the Server but adding fans to a router seems extreme *grins*
