To be honest I don't even see the reason to lower the delay as I personally never hit the delay in my whole uo life.

I did not initially add any comment here as I wanted to see how polling went. I am open to change on this issue but in case you don't know why Recall is slower on UOT - this is my logic.
I played for four years on a purely (100%) PvP rules shard even though I did not personally indulge in PvP. During that time I observed many things and one was the constant Forum complaints about the speed of the Recall spell. Players would spend time setting RP traps then fighting another player down to almost dead, only to see them do an insta recall away from battle.
The facet of Tartarus will open in about six weeks and will be available for PvP (I will post some reminders about how I hope people will treat that possibility). In my mind the Recall spell is a travel assist to players and is not an emergency escape tool. If you walk yourself into trouble (with monsters or with players) then you may pay a price. That is fair to all and also part of the excitement.
If the community wishes - I can make it a bit faster but my goal was to have it set at the same speed as casting a Gate.

Wasn't this about delay and not cast time? . Still think its fine how it is if it is the cast time.

I agree that recall/gate/sacred journey should not be for fast escapes. However... i tried to use sacred journey in khuldun last night (to arete) and it wouldn't work. Not sure if that is a special dungeon thing or tartatus rules...

The only thing I am seeing that is remotely close to 6 seconds is the cast time not the delay before casting again. I agree that recall/gate/sacred journey should not be for fast escapes. However... i tried to use sacred journey in khuldun last night (to arete) and it wouldn't work. Not sure if that is a special dungeon thing or tartatus rules... Khaldun is actually part of Tartarus so full Tartarus rules apply. The only way in and out is through Trammel (that may change after Tartarus opens).
