The Sphere of Antiquity:
Alchemists who are able to create one of the 'Philosopher's Stones' can talk to Zosimos the philosopher in the Isle of Arete mage shop. He can send you on a quest in search of the Sphere of Antiquity. This search brings some danger but a prepared well equipped alchemist you should fare well. If you succeed and target the Sphere of Antiquity with an unused Philosopher's Stone you can be rewarded with a rare item.
