1) The drop rate for Talismen has been reduced so they do not become common items.
2) The graphic for 'Un-cut Cloth' has been changed. All old ones will retain thir appearnce until added to the tailor Mass Storage chest of cut up. All new ones will have the newer graphic which is much better for deco/display purposes (thx illistyl)
3) More curtains have been added to the Sewing Menu as well as curtain sashes. Also, the special dye tub for these has been removed in favour of a traditional dye tub to allow a more vibrant colour selection.
4) A custom 'Town Invasion' system is now live on the server. With this system, staff can start one of three (easy, medium, hard) invasions of Britain, Cove, magincia, Minoc, Trinsic or Vesper. The invaders could be related to one of five different types (jukas, evil mages, orcs, overseers, savages). All of these are custom so they are not as easy as they may appear or drop what you would normally expect.
5) A new item is on the server (Shaladar's Pigment Jar). This special jar can be used to take a pigment sample from any armor, weapon, clothing or container and then target a normal Clothing Dye Tub setting it to the captured hue. The pigments can be captured from any eligible item including those equipped by NPCs. Shaladar's Jar only has 3 uses after which it breaks. If you need more than 3 uses you will have to search for more jars. This dangerous quest begins with Leonardo the Artist just east of Moonglow city (thx Shaladar)
Note: not a reboot change . . but just in case people have not noticed it . . the library in Skara Brae now contains books of the land that can be read without having to steal them first. If any player has literary talent, they are invited to submit books for approval. If they are of good content they may be published and appear in the Library.
EDIT: (thx Ravenclaw - some changes not mentioned above)
Tailoring:
- Skill should raise now by making the Cloth Ninja Hoods, as per UOGuide and other sources.
Wood Types:
- The crafting menus for Carpentry and Bowcrafting should now show the various wood resources in the identical order.
Bowcrafting:
- Bows crafted from different wood resources have different stats.
Carpentry:
- The Black Staff has been added to the list of items craftable.
