Hello everyone! I am new to the shard and the game as well. I had a quick question as to what a few of the skills did, I understand the crafting skills and the attack skills, but I'm in the dark as to skills like evaluate intelligence and spirit speak. Is there any way to get an idea of what some of the less obvious skills do? Is there a reason to take them?
Also I see ninjitsu, chivalry, and necromancy... is Bushido available as well?
Thank you.

Hi fightingferret, Welcome to the shard and feel free to look me up anytime you see me in game (Usually as Ravenclaw or Shaladar) if you need any help. A lot of the other skills you are talking about add benefits like restoring health or regaining mana quicker, doing more damage when fighting and or casting spells. etc.. A good place to check these out would be: >>> www.uoguide.com/Skills <<< or >>> uo2.stratics.com/skill-guides <<< As for Ninjitsu, Chivalry and Necromancy. To my knowledge these are available though I have not taken them myself yet with my characters and so cannot say with 100% cerrtainty. See you around and enjoy.

Also I see ninjitsu, chivalry, and necromancy... is Bushido available as well? The books for Chivalry and Ninjitsu can be purchased on the island of Arete (Chivalry from a NPC on the castle grounds, Necromancy from a NPC in the cemetery). The book for Bushido is a 15% random drop on Ronin in Tokuno. The book of Ninjitsu is a similar random drop on Elite Ninja in Tokuno. Alternatively if you make a Samurai or Ninja character they should enter our world with one of these books in their pack.

OK, those ronin are tough, but I killed a few of them with no successful drop, but it is a 15% rate...not a guaranteed, so no biggie. I just made a samurai and took his book.
Now I have another skill question... I managed to actually complete my first crafting quest in tailoring on my second attempt, so I got a 110 tailoring power scroll and have managed to raise my skill to about 105 so far.
My question is: do crafting quests ever result in a 115 or 120 scroll? or do those come from filling BODs only?

To my knowledge, you can get these scrolls from quests as well but you need to raise your current skills first before they will drop. In otherwords you may not get a 115 scroll until you've raised your skill up to 110.

My question is: do crafting quests ever result in a 115 or 120 scroll? or do those come from filling BODs only? All of the Crafting quests (and the quests for Mining, Lumberjack, Taming and Barding) will drop Power Scrolls up to the 120 skill level. As Ravenclaw has correctly noted . . you will not see the higher levels drop until you have maxed the skill level you are currently at (or close to it).

Well that's very helpful! Thank you both for your responses.
