Just a question about this.. According to RunUO the UOAssist program is the replacement for Razor. I was wondering if it was a legitimate program to use here on this shard? >> Assist UO Link <<

I haven't given up on Razor yet and the UOAssist is not as intuitive.
I had to edit the text file that controls the sites you can link to in order to link to UOT. Also the macroing is more like programming than the straight forward macroing process in Razor, though the method of manually entering the script is easier than in Razor.
There are a few nice things about UOAssist that Razor does not provide but I will need to familiarize myself with them. I'll play with the program some more when I get a chance and let you know if anything good or bad turns up.

If anyone is interested, here is a good discussion about AssistUO >>> www.runuo.com/community/threads/assistuo-the-razor-lovers-alternative.524019/ <<< Ignore the rants in the middle. Oh and check the dates, some of the features that they say are not included, may be included now with newer releases. As for my opinion so far... - The Spell bars are a really nice touch.
- The macros seems as if they have a LOT more to offer but you almost need to be a c programmer to write them.
- The layout is nicer, better organized.
- The new UO Map feature built in is also nice. Though I haven't played with it too much as yet.
- The rest is pretty much the same with a few tweaks and modifications here and there.
I am still a newbie at it though so will tell you more when I know more. Note: This is not to be confused with TugSofts UOAssist. This is RunUOs program, not TugSofts.

Not sure, but if your screen flashes you can try a couple of things.
1- There is a setting in UO on your paperdoll under options (not sure where, I'm out right now so cannot check) for changing to 535(?) colours which is supposed to help with screen jumping when enabled. If that doesn't help then disable it again.
2- Try using UOSteam instead of Razor. May not fix things but it doesn't hurt to try.
3- Check to make sure you have the proper drivers for your video card.
4- Ensure your internet connection is fast enough. (Unlikely this is the problem with the internet speeds that are available today but thought I'd mention it anyway.)

Afraid I'm out of ideas, sorry to hear it wasn't a permanent fix. Sounds like a video card issue to me but I can't say for sure.
Good luck. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

If you are running Razor in a Windows 7 system then set it run in compatibility mode and turn off the Aero feature. This is something with Razor that I have run into in the past.
