The Lenape people have been long thought extinct. From artifacts we know their time was before the shattering and the rise of primordial Tartarus. It was a time when peace prevailed and abundance was over the land but that pristine time was doomed with the arrival of Mondain and the shattering that erupted across the realm.
The Lenape are a strong proud people. We know now the strongest of them survived by wile, stealth and wise leadership. They secreted themselves away in the deepest caverns created by the shattering and waited. They waited until a time to recover their lands arrived. That time is now.
Their watery island territory was known to them as Massapequa. To us it is known as Agartha on the facet of Tartarus but the Lenape have returned. They have regained a large portion of Agartha and Massapequa reigns again.
The Lenape have long despise the followers of Mondain and those who ruined their land. Today they fiercely defend the hidden treasures of Massapequa with their shamanistic skills and creatures summoned from their abyss.
There is much to be gained for those strong, wise or skilled enough to travel there but much also to be lost by the careless. The Lenape today are scalp takers and protect their Shaman's deep abode with their lives.
Rumour has it that a lone trader has gained the trust of the Shaman and by extension the trust of the Lenape warriors. He alone is the way to the Shaman for any brave or fool enough to seek an audience.
WARNINGS:
1) The Lenape people have the ability to 'loot' fallen corpses.
2) Items that are not 'Blessed' or not 'Insured' (including Loot Bags) may be at risk.
3) While this adventure is risky . . it does offer rewards at many levels from many creatures
4) Travelling in Massapequa territory may be safer in a group.
As reports come in . . one day we may know more.
