As of today . . . 'Luck' has increased value.
The higher your Luck the better your chances for some of the 270 new bonus drops in monster Corpses and some Chests.
Note: 1) When you slay a monster the chance for a luck related bonus drop will depend on your 'Luck' and the monster's 'Fame'. 2) When you try opening a T-Map Chest, Paragon Chest, Heirloom Chest, or some of the higher value Dungeon Chests you will find that the Telekinesis spell will no longer work on them. 3) 'At the moment' the chance for the random drops involved range from 2% to 10% based on your Luck level.
We will be monitoring this addition to the realm and are open to input based on the thought of improving or adding to the system over time.

So, If telekinesis doesn't work, do we all need to re-skill our builds to add Remove Trap? or is there some other skill or spell we need?
All of my sisters have full working builds without remove trap, so we basically cannot open a chest without the chance of dying from the trap?

Amairgen, I wasn't asking to remove the Non-Telekensis, I was just curious how we were to work around this. Maybe have scribes create scrolls to disarm chests or maybe a quest item wand that will do that same. I do know that all my characters are at skill cap and disarm trap is not in any of them. Having a good build at 1200 skill points is totally doable, it's just hard to justify a somewhat used skill to the mix. Dungeon chests don't pose an issue, we won't die or get critically hard by opening one... t-map, lv 5 or above will likely kill us without disarming the trap somehow.

My T-Hunter doesn't use telekinesis or disarm trap for any level of t-map and she hasn't died from opening one yet. *Psst*Amairgen, don't go getting ideas about increasing the damage on these now, will you . . . However, I'm not against adding something "new" to be created for disarming t-map chests. It should be part of a t-hunters skill set whether that's through actual skill points or via a supplementary item.

I got tons of maps and never did much tmap digging but I'll put on my lucky suit and hit the dungeons more for sure. Thanks for this lucky bump.

So I did some testing today and am pleased to say I was wrong about t-chests killing a player on opening. I've always been a t-hunter and on other servers and old OSI servers, the higher the map, the higher the damage, which could usually kill on the higher tier maps. I tested this on a lv 5 and a lv 6 map and the damage was very minimal. so, neither telekinesis nor remove trap are required for treasure hunting.
One question I have is if the trap damage causes damage to the armor?

At the moment the 'Sunken Chests' are not affected by 'Luck' (that could change) however: 1) Sunken Chests already have a chance to yield things other chests do not . . . and 2) 'Luck' will work on the creatures you find (or who find you) on the seas . . . and 3) There is at this very moment other new sea creatures in the works on which 'Luck' may prove a benefit.
At the end of it all . . chances to stay alive may be more important than loading up on 'Luck'. It is an individual call.
