Hello fellow UOT family,

My husband and I would like to return, but we are having trouble getting razor to work with Windows 10. We have tried configuring to an earlier version and also ran as administrator. We are still not having any luck. I hope someone out there can assist so we can play again.

There is a newer client that is much smoother than the standard OSI client. It's called Classic UO and has a short instruction manual on how to add Razor.

Hope this solves your problem. 


You can also try Orion Client, but that has a really steep learning curve.  and doesn't really require Razor, as it has most of those functions built in.

We finally got into the game. I just used my other laptop that already had Razor. Now I am having another issue. I created my character and entered the game by the Mayor. I talked to him but could not move and kept getting stuck. Then the game kept "not responding" and would kick me out. I then got back in but had no clothes on and no hair lol. Thank you for getting back to me, if I keep having issues, I will get on my other laptop and try your suggestion.

Hi . . I responded to your 'Private Message' (PM) to me, with some ideas. Let's keep working on it and if we get it sorted out perhaps post the solution here in case anyone else ever has the same problem.

Personally I am using Razor version 1.0.13
I think we have a 'link' to that on our Website (see left side 'UOT Files'and scroll down to 'Other Helpful Utilities').
