In the 'Traditional' way . . . today we are recognizing the value of participating in the realm's NPC Guild system as was done long ago.
Now, when you join one of these guilds you will be able to buy items from their member NPCs at a discount. If you have a member of your family who buys regularly from NPC vendors then this discount can add up nicely in their favour.
NPC Guildmasters are the key to becoming a member of these NPC Guilds and you can join them regardless of your involvement in one of the Player established Guilds.
If you are interested in joining one of the NPC Guilds you simply approach one or the NPC 'Guild Masters' then:
1) Say their name followed with the word 'Join'
2) The Guildmaster will tell you how much it costs to become a member
3) Drop the correct amount of Gold on the Guildmaster and you will be accepted.
Note: You can only be a member of one NPC Guild at a time. If you wish to switch to a different one you will have to wait a week then you will be able to pay the new Guildmaster the amount they request. Some players might have more than one character in their family and be able to have different characters join different NPC guilds to enjoy savings.
