Pet Taming - Skelter

I found a Skelter this morning and tried taming it.  With my Druid Cloak I have 130 taming and Lore.  I use a stone circle to block it and try taming.  I spent about 10 minutes doing that and never got a single taming attempt - I only ever got a "You Anger the Beast".  I get that when taming the worg, but I at least seem to have a chance to tame that.  I tried peacemaking it as well, only to fail that every time.    Is the skill required to tame the Skelter set too high?  At 130, I would think I'd have some sort of chance.  

Edit:  I went back and kept at it.  after about 20 or 25 more tires, I finally got a single chance to tame, and it was successful.  Very difficult tame, but possible.  Still never succeeded in peace'ing it.

All of the 'New AI' pets have the same taming requirement (109.1) so it sounds like you had some terrible rolls of the dice. It is well worth watching though because while they are intended to be difficult they are not intended to be impossible. Maybe test more than one and also try on some of the other 'High End' ones (Smilodon, Troglodyte, Worg, Impundulu, Wendigo, Anemoi, Seilenoi).
