Greetings to all in the world of Traditions!
It has been a long journey to the world of Traditions, having started in UO in November of 1997. Worked as an actual Councillor in UO. Played UO religiously until 2009. Worked in the Emulator Community or World Design, Custom Maps, World Decoration, contributor to Ryandor, Orbsydia, Sphere and RunUO. Seems so long ago...Not always friendly but always remembered fondly. Good people...buttheads...I miss them so...
There have been so many changes to the mesmerizing game we all seem to love that it is barely recognizable to me anymore. Albeit, Traditions feels more like what I remember in my fading mind.
Thank you for allowing the Da'Bane clan to run amuck in your precious world if even for a little while. Everyone has been more than kind and helpful during my stay over the last week. It is always the quality of the person that matters most and while Traditions may be small it has very good people...so far...at least until we came along and mucked it all up...
The difference between insane and crazy is... crazy people do things for no reason while we insane people have a plan! What it is I have no idea but when i figure it out I will let you know!

Welcome sir.
Indeed there are those who think we are insane (you might count my wife among them *smiles*). However . . I feel you are right in that we do have a plan. For my part the plan is to evolve a world that offers challenge with reward . . excitement with exploration . . comfort of the vaguely familiar . . and an escape from the serious side of reality . . all while remaining true to the original concept of Ultima.
What has been accomplished here has come from the minds and hearts of our citizens who come, go, return and stay. Their ideas, wishes and hopes have found root here where my role is implementation that melds those dreams with 'Tradition'.
We hope you find a long term home here. You are certainly welcome and perhaps over time you will share ideas you may have that might add your contribution to the world we love.
To the Da'Bane clan . . we say welcome! May you travel in sunshine!

It's good to see someone as well travelled as yourself make a path to our wonderful realm.
I always wanted to join the Counselor program in Ye Olde Days of Ultima but alas, it closed before I could fill in the application :-(
I do hope you find a home here and enjoy all that we have to experience. We are small in number but BIG in quality :-)

T'is good to see another veteran traveler land on our shores. I hope you find this land suits your purpose as I found it many years ago.
If you settle here and one day yearn for a group you are welcome to contact me or Jeor Mormont or Bran Stark. "The Night's Watch" seeks one member of each house to join us in guarding the Ice Wall. When not busy with that we help each other in many ways with the hardest tasks and the most difficult needs. Regardless of your choices I wish you well. Maybe lucky, maybe not but you found a good spot to land.
