New Pup

I haven`t been playing quite as much lately due to being run ragged for the last week or so by a new addition to the family.

This is Chester, a black lab now 10 weeks old, taking a well earned nap.

Chester looks quite "leggy". No doubt he'll bring much love and fun to your lives. Happy days!!

Thanks Guys,
We lost our last furry companion,Logan, to cancer earlier this year but have 11 years of great memories. We decided not to get another dog at that time but you know how that one goes Chester was the biggest of the litter, he`s a tad over 11kg (22lb). He`s keen to learn and the potty training is going well. He went to the vets for his 2nd jab and the vet was impressed he already had the Paw command down, which earned him a double bravery treat.

What a sweet looking young lad! Pets are such amazing members of the family. Looks and sounds like tis one has found the perfect home. Sorry to hear about your loss of the last one. I just had the same experience with my cat. Sadly will not be getting another one cause it would outlive me for sure and worrying about that I could not handle.

I`m sorry for your loss, saying goodbye is never easy. Logan died at home surrounded by family which was a blessing. I`m cracking on in years so i guess Chester may be my last dog, i wouldn`t be able keep up with a pup at 70 anyway
I`m sure you will be around for many more years to come but i understand the dilemma. Have you considered fostering? It seems a shame to let age deprive a cat of a loving home.

Looks to me like you have a good little black Lab there, in the 2nd. pic he already shows that thoughtful Lab look that I remember so well from some of mine.  Congrats on your new companion.
