I sat down at brit bank and afk'd, came back to notice i was disconnected from the game. Log back in to see I'm dead sitting at the bank.
It would be one thing to loose my hours of work and loot and gear if its by my own hand, but I was in Tram brit, at full health.
Did I do something so evil as to get killed and loose my stuff over?

I am not aware of anything that could cause that at the Brit Bank in Trammel unless you were casting spells that harmed 'Blues' in town and got yourself guard whacked (or something like that). If on the other hand you were on the Tartarus facet you would be exposed to attack anywhere because there cities of Tartarus are unguarded and monsters can roam free.
I would also be upset if if I lost things while parked in a 'traditionally' safe spot and was not doing anything that might cause a problem for things around me. I am wide open to any ideas on how that was possible. Meanwhile I am happy to try replacing what items you might have lost if you could send me a PM.

No I’m in treble at the bank. I wasn’t macroing I was just sitting down on the bench while I was getting dinner going. I came back and logged back in because my Internet had a hiccup And I noticed I was dead and still sitting on the bench outside of the bank.
I appreciate the help, when I log in here in a few I’ll let you know what I lost. I know one thing I lost for sure since for some reason I’m not allowed to insure it.

Hi Amairgen.
I dont know if its related but i had a lot of t-maps vanish from a secure chest.I dont know eactly when it happened but i guess quite recently. I initially thought i was imagining it but after searching every chest they are definitely gone. The strange thing is the adeptly drawn t-maps are there but everything above adeptly that were in the same chest have mysteriously disappeared. I`m not fussed about the maps but dont know if i can trust that chest lol

T-Maps can very become a serious source of lag on Servers because of their large numbers over time and also the more items in the world the longer the save times. For this reason . . every T-Map that has not been completed will decay in 7 days.
To solve this for people we have 'Treasure Map Books' that stores the maps in a database rather than as individual items on the server. The T-Map books drop on various monsters and chests and I believe Scribes can also make them.
Completed maps can also be used by Scribes to create 'special' new maps.

Thanks Guys, i didnt realise they decayed in a chest  Thanks to Tracina i now have a couple of t-map books which should keep me going for a while. |
