I've been encountering blacksmithing bods that require spined leather. It doesn't happen often and it seems to only be effecting weapon and shield bods. The NPC that hands them to me is Octavia The Blacksmith in the training hall in Arete. I doubt it has anything to do with the NPC. but she's the one I get most of my bods from.

This is a known bug, i run into them alot as well. From what i've heared Amairgen will have a look into it when he's back from vacation.

Yes . . this is a known bug that has haunted us for over eight years (since I brought in the custom resources . . Obsidian, Tradium, etc).
I will certainly visit it again and actually have a new idea that might *fingers crossed* solve it.
