Hello all! I've just started playing on Traditions and I absolutely love it! I began my UO adventure back in 2003 and played for about 8 years before I got tired of the BS and finally left. There have been a few other "free" to play shards that I've been on however I quickly found they were anything but and if I didn't fork over money I couldn't compete with even the easiest of things. Don't get me wrong, I understand why some ask for donations and I'm quite happy to help BUT it is also nice to enjoy playing without the pressure of keeping up with all the other players gear-wise especially when it costs money to do so. One day, as I was doing the daily voting thing for another shard, UO Traditions caught my eye. So I decided to read up on it. Then download the client and once I logged in I fell in love! No gaudy colors and boring deco and no pressure to follow the best geared out leader! Just a beautiful world to explore! I am so happy I found this server and hope to meet all of you in time to see what adventures we may share!

Please do not hesitate sharing any new ideas you have (as well as pointing out any bumps you might run into). The good things we have going for ourselves have mostly come from player input over the years.
Our goal is a balanced world that is fair, fun and true to the UO 'Tradition'.

Traditions is what and how UO should always have been. I would gladly pay to play here but alas, our generous and kind admin feigns forgetfulness of the way to his banking portal so we remain rich in coin and the blessed recipients of many entertainments :-)
