I would like to start creating dyes but the crafting menu says I need pastes to make the dyes and pastes come from colored plants. I'm horrible with horticulture; is there a different way to obtain plants to make the paste?
Sorry if this is a silly question, I wasn't able to find my answer elsewhere...

Well first off I don't feel there are any "silly questions" here @ UO Traditions. Our shard probably has thousands of custom scripts, so it's gonna take a long time to learn how they work.
Sounds like maybe soon we can start buying some possible rare dyes for things, and that's always sweet! Especially since we don't have all those bright neon colors to contend with!
Thank the gods!

. . . is there a different way to obtain plants to make the paste? I now have this on my list and will see if we can find an alternative way to obtain paste. - It may become one of the random rewards in the various Crafter quests - It could become part of some existing quests (Iris's Hues, Pet Dyes or Shaladar's Pigment Jar) - It may inspire a new quest.

. . . is there a different way to obtain plants to make the paste? Okay Tracina . . 1) The paste from plants now has a random chance to drop on all Crafter quests if you have reached legendary level (120) in that Craft quest 2) I have a new quest in the works. The in-game deco for it is complete. I just need to finish creating the NPCs and monsters then I can spawn and announce it (Hopefully by end of next week). Thank you for the inspiration on this. *bows*
