Do you like Crows?
It may be strange if you do. Many view the appearance of Crows as an omen of death because Crows are scavengers and associated with dead bodies, battlefields, and cemeteries. They are thought to circle in large numbers above sites where animals or people are expected to soon die.
Well if gatherings of Crows gives you any pause . . . then ponder this:
A group of Crows is called a 'murder'. That's right . . a murder of Crows. There are several explanations for the origin of this term, mostly based on old folk tales and superstitions but then our realm is ripe with those.
Folklore has it that Crows will gather and decide the capital fate of another Crow who has misbehaved then as a group will attack the offender. Well as creepy as that sounds . . it is. Beware!
Rumour has it a murder of Crows has been spotted in the Tartarus forests and they may be deciding the fate of more than just Crows. If you wander the wilderness keep your ears open, your eyes peeled and your fleet feet ready to roll.
Yes I know . . *scans the trees and scan the skies*
By the way . . being scavengers and attracted to shiny baubles, Crows steal and thus can drop nice random goodies. Their 'Crow Feathers' are used by Fletchers along with Frostwood logs to make a Dread bow with many random properties. This bow has a special power and might (if the crafter is lucky) even have the 'Use Best Skill' property.

I was able to search the realm for enough crows to make the Dread Bow. Luckily I was able to make it exceptional and I took a chance and tried Blessing it - With Success!!! Here it is:

I've heard rumors while sitting in Buc's Den, drinking my tankard of ale. But they are only rumors... I have not used the bow, yet. Hopefully I will be able to tonight.

Just a quick 'FYI' for any Crow hunters we have.
When a 'Murder of Crows' gathers in a wilderness area of the realm, they will not gather again until every one of that particular flock has been eradicated. If one is left behind the flock will not reappear.
