Today we changed the armor and weapons that result from Crafters enhancing (Imbuing) the basic drops in the various starter quests available on the Isle of Arete (the Gauntlet, the Invasion area, the Witch and the King).
Crafters will still need the required number of basic dropped items as well as the Arete Imbuing Elixir but the resulting enhanced (Imbued) armor and weapons will now be the same as those picked up by new players entering our realm.
We made this change for three reasons:
1) Some new players do not pick up all the items available when they enter our realm and wish they had done so.
2) Spellcrafters have a chance of destroying items when applying new properties so this change provides a way to obtain a replacement for those destroyed items.
3) With all the recent changes, the old enhanced (Imbued) Gauntlet items were no longer attractive enough to warrant the effort of collecting them.
This change should bring more value to the Isle of Arete starting quests and improve the value of our Crafters.
