Just a reminder . . . The Holiday Season is almost on us. All the related activities and fun will begin mid month and run until Jan 03, 2021.
What does this mean? Well it means: 1) Grinches will begin to appear including mean old Papa Grinch 2) Humbugs will roam the wilderness 3) The North pole will be open with its tree farm 4) Santas elves and helpers will offer seasonal quests 5) Snowmen bearing the names of our citizens can be collected along the Arete village walls 6) Gifts from Santa will be available between Christmas and New Year's day.

UPDATE #1: Season Greetings!
The snow has fallen on the Isle of Arete, the Village center Holiday Tree is up and the Grinches have emerged throughout the realm (all facets except Tartarus and Tokuno).
It will not be long before Santa's helper arrives in the Arete vendor market and passage to the North Pole opens. When that happens we will have access to all the North Pole elf activities and quests.
Cheers everyone! Stay safe . . stay well . . and have the most pleasant holiday season possible.

UPDATE #2:
1) The North Pole is Open! 2) Santa's helper has now arrived in the Player Vendor area on the Isle of Arete. He can sell you a special 'Saw' to take with you through the nearby Moongate to the North Pole (When you get to the North Pole you can use the 'Saw' in Santa's Tree Farm to get a Holiday Tree for your house). 3) While you are visiting the North Pole talk to the elf 'Pepper Minstix'. He is busy and needs help with a selection of Seasonal chores. Pick the one you like. 4) Also . . at the North Pole . . take some time to look around. It is only open for a couple of weeks each year.

UPDATE #3:
Santa's elves are now placing seasonal Snowmen (Snow people?) bearing Player Names on the Arete village walls on the Isle of Arete. These can be taken for your collection or for gifts or to adorn your houses during the festive season. It looks like the elves will replace any taken with a different one.
By the way . . anyone who doesn't know where the name of our starter island 'Arete' (with its training aids) originated from . . Google the name Arete to see what Wikipedia has to say.
Cheers
