Hey,
Does anyone know what the reward list/chances are for the GM taming quest?
After taming 8 Sphinx I can't say I wasn't a little disappointed to receive a candle wick & 2k gold check.
Not sure what the rewards are but Powerscrolls are easy to get by other means, especially already at 120 taming & lore... Just my 2 cents.
I doubt it's worth me doing this again except for maybe an ancient lore wand?

"Also of interest . . The Taming Quest (like all the crafter or bard quests) can still be repeated at 120 skill and rewards still drop for you. One of the possible rewards (30% chance) is an Ancient Lore Wand that you may find very handy. You can not only use it on your own pet but also on potential untamed ones in the wild. If the wand runs out of charges you can either repeat the quest for a new wand or buy a 'Wand Scroll' from a good scribe to add up to 50 charges." Amairgen said the lore wand is a 30% chance. Okay . . At the top end (120 Skill) of the Tamer Quest you can continue repeating the quest for more rewards. You could get more than one of the rewards each time.
Here is a list of the potential Rewards and the chances of getting them:

For GM Tamers - Talk to Zoe at the Moonglow zoo. She can help you find Power Scrolls for Animal Taming, Animal Lore, Musicianship, Veterinary, Tracking and Herding. The scrolls are random drops, but have a relatively high drop rate so shouldn't take too long to get if you do the quest enough. The quest itself is also not terribly long to do. |
