Long lost monkey...

I need to query this before i lose my marbles.

I got the monkey quest for the organ grinder & spent a ridiculous amount of time searching the western area of ilshenar (my monkey location) to only find out that i should have been tracking... silly me.

I then spent an even larger, more ridiculous amount of time quite literally scanning the region with tracking going screen by screen & using the tracking skill to no avail.

It's now been more than 2 days & assuming the quest guide is correct & i only have 2 days to find the monkey, I spoke to olaf again to re-get the quest only for him to tell me to keep looking.

Am i looking for a ghost or is my monkey definitely still there?

I just don't want to waste another hour looking for something if it's despawned/doesn't exist... Can anyone offer me some insight?

If it's still there, of course i will keep scouring - although i seem to have gone blind with squinting.

He is definitely still there . . this time in the large area East of the Ilshenar Valor Shrine. Not sure if you will be able to continue the quest at this time because the quest triggers (as indicated) will time out within 2 days and the Monkey might move.

Hey Cal,

You'll find a runebook + a book into the Arete Library whit some of the Monkey'locations:
- All Homare Jime locations
- 3 Isamu Jima locations
- 3 Tartarus locations
- only 2 Ilshenar locations

Don't hesitate to complete the list!

Will give it a few days & speak to olaf again & see if he regenerates the book at least, or gives me a new location. Will keep an eye on it though.

I'm only after one track - minoc positive (because it's basically my childhood in one sound) so you're welcome to any other I get Yhaguen!

I also checked out the coordinates you had put down to no avail so i'm thinking either the monkey is elsewhere or it was not appearing due to it being over 2 days. I will keep looking though!

The Monkey is at location 710,320. Amair coould you please add it into the Library book?
About the song, unfortunately I never found this one.

The Revenant Monkey is on a random 'Multi-Spawner' that spawns him randomly within a 20 tile range of the various 'Nodes' associated with their 'Parent Multi-Spawner'. We use many of these Multi-Spawners for various quests and systems on Traditions. The Keeper of Power Scrolls is just one other example.

It is easy for me to find any Revenant Monkey 'Mobile' that exists in the world but it is much trickier for me to find all the 'Nodes' associated with their 'Parent Multi Spawner'. We may have one Parent Multi-Spawner in Ilshenar for the Revenant Monkey but we will have several associated 'Nodes'. When the Monkey is killed he pops up within a 20 tile range of another of the 'Nodes'.

I know this is not a big help but it is the underlying information of how the system works.
