Greetings all!
My crafter, Gaeidra, has been busy filling custom orders for the grateful staff at the Arete Craft Hall and has a question about the specific footwear only BOD's sold by Bill the shoemaker/cobbler.....
Bill likes to sell his BOD's at the cost of $1000 coin but then doesn't appear to want the filled order returned back to him so she has dropped one or two on the Tailor NPC but the return for the outlay seems imbalanced (imho) and is wondering if she is missing out on receiving a better reward from Bill
Can other crafters on here tell me if Bill will take his BOD's back and at what point in the cycle that may happen?
Many thanks in advance
*bows*

I think I may have just figured this out....
To complete a large BOD for Tailoring that requires a footwear component, you can select the type and quantity of that specific footwear BOD from Bill to craft and then combine with the other components of the large BOD

Once the BOD is filled the NPC should accept it back so this is an issue i've never encountered. I do know that the rewards obtained are rarely usefull and your time is better spent elsewhere ingame.

Hi alk760!
There is a curiosity factor in this for me ;-) If I ever manage to fill and hand in a large Tailor BOD, I'll let you know what my reward is
I find I am highly fascinated by the reward/loot drops on UOT
For example: when out gathering hides, I scored a rug deed! Now this sequence of events doesn't quite follow in my RP mind: hind/leather/rug deed (loot) BUT im also not giving it back *grins*

I think you answered your question. From what I recall and the intention of the footwear BOD vendor is to get the hard to find footwear BOD's for larger BOD's. If turning them in on their own they should give rewards that are not as good as the cost, or at least I would hope so. Where you get the better reward than cost is in the large BOD's.
