sounds like steam escaping and drains health, mana and stamina and continues to do it 2 to 4 times.

It is a small part of the New AI system coming in. So far the system only embraces Dragons, Ancient Liches and Cyclops. There is still a lot of refinement to do but over time the majority of monsters will be affected in one way or another. The finished product will give the monsters a series of random AI potentials that are suited to them and scaled to their stats and 'Traditional' fight modes.

You gave the grinches and humbugs the high hitpoint regens too. I have seen some that are stuck in places and when they are almost dead, i see their hitpoints increase fast.
I dont like the new AI, i had problems killing things before and now i probably will have problems killing everything.
The first day the grinches and humbugs didnt come close to killing me but the next day and on, they have been stealing my mana and stamina, and when you lose all stamina, you cant move and I die.

So far only there creatures have a random chance for the new AI. The Grinches have not changed in three years. Maybe you should look closer at your gear and tactics.

Ancient Liches have become quite the terror in Dungeon Demise.
I've been busy chasing Humbugs and Grinches my only issue is how fast they run but aside that maybe one ran off screen and you came across a new one and thought it had fully regenerated health.

the game is too tough for me in many ways already, how about make new quests and put the new AI on the monsters in those quests or add it to some existing quests but dont put it anywhere else, then whoever it was that complained that the game wasnt challenging can have a new challenge.
And no, it was the same grinch or humbug but i have had that before and end up attacking 2 or 3 of them all same time and definitely die. Please take the ants out of their pants, i almost kill one and then i never see it again.
