I didnt realize that you can have all crafts on one character but you would have to make another character with mining and lumberjacking skills. But then the other one with mining and LJ could have more combat skills to survive better in the wilds. Here is the template with combo crafts needs and additional crafting for each.
Alchemy 120 (paint paste)(ancient alchemy)(spellcrafting)(wax crafting)
Blacksmith 120 ------Tinker, Carpentry
Bowcraft 120 (baskets)(staff crafting)
Carpentry 120---Tailor,Tink,Magery,Music(marble/stone crafting)(baskets)

you need GM mining to use the stone crafting i thought.
Tinkering at 120 is not needed for artifacts.

stonecrafting and marble crafting was changed to carpentry months ago Tinkering 120 is needed to make all that tinkers can make.
Could Jethro tell us what skill wax crafting uses?

Aside from making paints and dyes what all is Alchemy used for in combined skill crafted items?
Because the above mentioned templet is missing necromancy to go with inscription in order to make Necro Spell Scrolls. Having every current crafter skill on one character still doesn't fit with the allotted 1200 points. My crafter does not have Flectching, Necro, Cooking or Cartography,I do have Mining and a means to defend myself with Med and Eval and over all is more fun for me to play.

necro isnt needed for a scribe to make necro scrolls, a total crafting skills crafter never needs to leave the house, so doesnt need any fighting skill. I am trying to make that happen on my crafter but since you cant get 120 power scrolls from crafting except from doing the quests, soulstones are useless in this case which means i will have to do lumberjack, mining and fletching the hard way and my new harvester has done the lumberjack quest 6 times and still no 105 PS yet. Reminds me when it took over 30 days to get tinkering to 120.
Change that to 7 times and still no 105 PS, i know you will say it is random chance BUT Random doesnt like me, i have a snowballs chance in Tartarus to get one.

I really couldn't say what is required for wax crafting. I didn't look into it until Jethro was basically complete. I'm not sure if everyone knows it, but the wax busts on my vendor can be used to create a bust of any character.

Would this be the goto crafter template ? As many know, the 1200 skill cap was selected so one character could do all crafting which leaves the other five character slots free for the player to experiment with and enjoy the other possibilities. We never expected the crafters to also be the hunter/gatherers of their own material resources so the Mining/Lumber skills might be taken up by a character who also does other wilderness adventuring like Treasure map chests, dungeon chests and even sunken treasures on the realms seas etc (but . . each to their own). To my knowledge the suggested template above is a pretty good fit for a solid crafter, but others may have alternative suggestions. This is all part of the fun planning templates versus the "one character does it all" approach.

So if I wanted to drop Cooking from this template and add Mining would that mess up any craftable items from the other skills? In other words is Cooking needed by the other skills to create anything?

The Cooking Skill is not required by other crafts however in addition to all the cooking items you can make, Cooking is the required skill in order to make: - Pottery - Paints for artwork - Alcohol for, well . . the things alcohol is good for.
