Yep . . my bad Fig *sorry. It should be 27,000 Gold and 25,000 Tradium. I will get the typos fixed for the next reboot.
Thanks

even that is alot higher than the old price of 250 medallions and 75,000 gold, with old insurgents, i could get 250+ medallions on one spawn. I would have to do Warren about 20 times to get 25,000 tradium coins. About 20 times fully populated Warren which would take many days and a few times a day.

Item Bless deeds did not exist 'for sale' here until recently and the initial pricing was way lower than suggested by some who proposed it as a currency Sink.
I planned to adjust the pricing and found the removal of Medallions (as a third currency) a good opportunity to do so. I know changes are not always easy but I don't see the current price as being unreasonable. People still have the 'Insurance' option while they work at it or the riskier Bless Spell.

The original "old price" was much higher. I know because I bought one....75,000 Tradium coins....it's much lower now. I however still don't agree with Tradium even being a currency placed on the Item Bless Deeds. Originally crafters could bless items with Ancient Citrine Gems (no Tradium was required other than the spellcrafting/tinkering cost)...now with the exclusion of bless on gems, its much more expensive for a crafter to bless an item. This in my opinion pushes players who predominately play the crafter template to rely on Mage Bless (which isn't even craft related and with the fail rate/chance to blow an item up...we're going to have a lot of pissed off crafters lol) because let's face it they aren't out there farming Tradium. If the Bless Deeds only required a gold purchase, crafters would still be able to afford them and could recoup the expense in their sale prices.
Basically Item Bless deeds, as they stand now, just made it easier for an Adventurer to crafter for themselves.

the current price is fair and easily obtainable. I've slowed down on my armor selling so Oxican is able to get some reputation here. without a constant flow of new players needing gear the armor business can die off quickly. But being the only crafter you become tiresome of constantly restocking vendors so i highly value his competition.
as for a pure crafting non fighting player there will be a way to exchange gold for tradium in the neer future we just need to find a correct balance in the price exchange. the previous exchange stone was a bit off so it was removed after one day. And possibly we could look into tradium being rewarded along with that less than desirable stuff you get from the crafter quests.

Yet another item that's more difficult for a pure crafter to obtain...especially if your crafter is your main character played....

too much falls onto spellcrafting it's a fun aspect but ultimately it needs some restrictions in order for the base crafting skills to coexist.
As for Magic Jewels they can be tough to acquire. what I did was trade spellcraft work for jewels.

Sounds good, but if you look at it from this aspect.... I'm an adventurer and while I'm hunting I'm accumulating Gems and Tradium (both required for spellcrafting the best armor) as well as all the artifact pieces...well I've accumulated everything needed for creating the best armor in game on my own...why would I outsource any of that to someone else. Especially since gear and spellcrafting is so custom specific to each player.
Since I acquire it all as an adventurer, I might as well create a pocket crafter for myself to spellcraft my own gear.
So playing a crafter as your primary character becomes obsolete.

The difficulty of obtaining Spellcrafting items (and Tradium) was done intentionally from the outset to encourage inter dependability within the community. Players have been trading resources for crafting from the start and yes several have eventually used one of their six character slots to discover the fun of eventually crafting great items themselves.
Another thing created here was a dependence on being close to a craft control item (similar to anvil/forge) which lead to the Arete Craft hall that has become a gathering point.
I am not saying things can't change . . just giving some background.
