The new pet stable post has been fixed, it now will only allow up to 8 pets, wont accept shrinkable pets but may still have one problem.

The problem Figger is referring to is this.
When a pet is Retrieved from the new Pet Post it comes to you 'Bonded'. That means you can tame an animal . . park it on the Post then immediately Retrieve it in a Bonded fashion. It was set up to have pets come away Bonded so crafters, miners and lumberjacks (characters using low level pets) could control them. Any pet other than a Pack Horse or Beetle cannot be retrieved unless you have the skill to tame it.
There are Pet Bonding items available in game and characters who have 100 Taming skill and also have 100 Herding skill already have pets auto Bond with them on being tamed . . . so given that the new Pet Post will not be 'cheap' to purchase . . this new feature seemed positive when it was created. If the community feels it could be abused then this feature can be removed.
Meanwhile the new Pet Post is still under testing and will not be released for sale by Lord Hart until it is found safe and bug free.
