So about the real me..
I enjoy writing as you may be able to tell from my character story in the other forum. My alias for the longest time was, and is, Wordpoet and I used to write poems, stories, lyrics and such whenever the mood struck.
My UO Experience:
I played UO for several years after having been introduced to it by a friend of mine. The first shard I ever played on was "Blackey's Revenge" it was a great place, it had a lot of custom maps and items, there were many people who played and it was always active though never felt crowded. Until now it was probably the best shard I ever played on. The owner decided he had done enough and needed more time and so passed the shard on to someone else.
The name was changed to Shienar Reborn and things changed, some were good but not all. The feeling and the interaction was different as well and a couple of years later it became Oracle Shores as it too passed into new hands. Big plans were made then but the talent didn't exist to back them up so the shard eventually disappeared altogether.
Since then I've been looking for a unique shard that doesn't 'give' everything away but does offer ways to grow and have fun. A place that recognizes that balance needs to exist while at the same time offering players a way to expand their characters into something special.
This is the first place I've come across where I feel like I did the first time I played UO and I have to say that I am really enjoying the experience so far.
Real Me:
Family:
I have a wife that I've been with for twenty-two years now and two children who, at the time of this post, are 'almost 15' and 18 years of age.
Work:
I work as an 'applications engineer' which in essence is a 'software specialist', no engineering involved. Our company has a product that they sell and I happen to know it really well so I demonstrate it to others and train people how to use it.
More:
If you would like to find out a bit more about me, you can find my G+ profile here.

Have a great day and see you all in game.
