Why UO Traditions over any other free shards

   What was it that persuaded me to try this shard?
                                    and
 What do I like about Traditions versus prior shards..?

My main reason for first joining UO-Traditions was definitely:
- The Felucca rule set (even tho it's only on the Tartarus facet).
- The Skill Point Cap - and - the *custom housing* features I wanted.

The Custom content and overall ease of play on UO-Traditions is why I've stayed. This is a very very fair shard.
I'm sure others have selfres and auto loot options etc. but none flow quite like this place does.

Tamable Shadow Wyrms!! yes!  -  Run Casting!! praise jeebus!!! - New dungeons!!  omg give us more!!!!! muahahaha

So with all the options on gear and mages blessing items and spellcrafting and housing and Amairgen,,,,
 PRAISE Amairgen this place completely rocks and I feel it's by far the best version of UO I've ever played.

I must agree with alk760 about this shard.  I was looking for a shard with a skill cap that did have a Felucca ruleset, though it's called Tartarus and highly customized that just drew me in even more.

I think the staff have been great... helpful, courteous, kind, thrifty, brave, clean & reverent.   Hmm... sounds familiar! 

All kidding aside, I have really enjoyed the past 2 month's.  That's the whole reason I started learning how to do video's was so that I could hopefully help bring awareness about the shard to other folks in hopes of more folks joining the community!

I been playing this shard off and on for over eight years now. I take breaks some longer than I like but keep coming back to UO-Traditions cause none compare to it. I poke into others but can't find anything like this one.

I tell you Amairgen is the best Admin you could find. He not only keeps adding stuff but it always makes sense and almost always from player ideas. He listens!

Okay . . thank you for the 'pats' on the back but . . enough about me. *smiles*

I am glad our people feel so good about the world we created. I say 'we' because UO-Traditions has evolved from player input and I thank everyone for that.

I am going to move this thread to the section of our Forum for 'Visitors' to make it easier for potential new people to see what we are about.
