Well . . another big step along the way with crafting improvements.

1) The craft system for Leathers and Wood has now been changed to reflect the changes recently made to Ingots. So armor and weapons made using Leather and/or Wood should have similar and ascending values you find on Ingots. (Frostwood will correspond with Silver)

2) A set of Carpenter Runic Tools has been created and will allow Carpenters to make Runic armor and weapons from wood.

3) Runic Tradified Wood Carpenter and Fletcher Tools can be randomly obtained from chopping Tradified Trees in Tartarus

4) Runic Taxwood Carpenter and Fletcher Tools can be randomly obtained from chopping Taxwood Trees in the wilderness

5) The Runic Tool Mass Storage containers will now hold the Runic Carpenter Tools

What should I see as a basic set of properties on tradified leather armor, i.e should there be a certain number and type of properties always on tradified leather with a random number of additional properties? What happens if I use a runic sewing kit to make that armor? Will it increase the number of random properties?

Runic tools add random properties.

Materials now have set properties as well.

You will need to make a few items and see what comes of it.

You can also get a tunic kit as a random chance reward from the tailor crafting quest. Got one the other day. Spined runic

I've made 2 sets of Tradisaur leather with a spined runic kit and 1 set with standard sewing kit. All 3 sets came out identical.

i wish the crafting quest rewarded rare items only, even though i have gotten the 120s already, i am still doing the quests to get the rare items that can only be gotten from doing those quests. I feel cheated when i finally craft the exceptional item they want and all i get is 2 petrified woods or 1 star dust. Items i can get elsewhere.
