Crafting Color question

When making runebooks, if non exceptional are they brown and if exceptional they are red, is that the way it has always been or is this new?
 Also did the "wooden container engraving tool" change colors? When i made them before, they were blue but now they look like they are made of wood and metal

i actually like the red better, i was asking other scribes if thats the way has always been or is it new, since you said you didnt change it. As for th engraver, that is weird that it changed
